Angel Food Ministry

 

"Angel Food Ministry" is available to anyone in our community without questions or requirement forms to fill out.

The Angel Food Ministry buys food in bulk, they print a menu of different available food boxes that cost from $25.00 to $41.00. The order is delivered thru the main distribution center in Harlingen.

The recipients place orders and pay for them in advance. Our volunteer picks up the food and delivers it to our Church where volunteers sort and make up boxes to be distributed. Usually the work is finished within two hours.

 

The beauty of this ministry is that recipients get twice the amount of food for the price and food stamps are accepted!

 

Also, the orders may be placed on line using your credit card at angelfoodministries.com.

 

Distribution is being done the last Saturday of each month from our Fellowship Hall.

On March 26, our third distribution of Angel Food boxes.. We purchased twenty three boxes, ten of those boxes were purchased by members of our congregation to be donated to families in need of assistance, and the other thirteen were purchased on line for their personal use.
